OUR TOP 5 WELLBEING BOOKS... Plus a few honorary mentions.

A simple but useful one this week. Here are 5 of my favourite wellbeing books from this year. This is, of course, subjective however I’d be very surprised if you don’t love them too! Leave any other recommendations in the comments for the rest of us to read too.

5.    SAPIENS - Yuval Noah Harari

A great book for an understanding of human nature, how we came to be & perspective on your small “problems” in life. History focussed, with a fascinating insight into the last 13.5 billion (yes BILLION) years. Beautifully written in a digestible way by Harari.

4.    THE POWER OF NOW - Eckhart Tolle

This would be higher up if it weren’t for its roots in religion (mainly Buddhism). A book all about understanding how your mind & it’s thoughts work. Learn about the interactions with your thoughts & how to view them from an external perspective, allowing you to overcome stress, anxiety & more.

3.    GOOD VIBES, GOOD LIFE - Vex King

One recommended to me by my girlfriend Lucy, this is a book focussed on building a bulletproof self-care routine. It dives into the benefits of mindfulness practices, positivity & the best ways of finding time for yourself in your busy life.

2.    THE SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A F*CK - Mark Manson

A light-hearted, comedic book with genius hidden among the anecdotes & metaphors. Manson has risen to fame through this book (which is also now a Netflix documentary) for good reason. Find yourself laughing & then realising the deeper meaning throughout this book, without having to take it too seriously.

1.    ATOMIC HABITS - James Clear

A world-renowned book about building positive actions into your routine to create long term habits. The result? You don’t need to motivate yourself to do something when it has become subconscious or habitual. A fascinating way of treating your wellbeing, & one which we regularly implement with clients. Recent studies also proved it to be the most effective method of change in modern humans!

Honourable Mentions:

15 MINUTES TO HAPPINESS - Richard Nicholls

HOW TO WIN FRIENDS & INFLUENCE PEOPLE - Dale Carnegie

WIM HOF METHOD - Wim Hof

JOURNALLING - Just try it & thank me later!

Go nuts with any of the above which sounds like a bit of you & let us know your thoughts. We look forward to seeing your recommendations below! Have a great week & see you soon.
